PATH OF EXILE
Path of Exile is an online Action RPG set in the dark fantasy world of Wraeclast. It is designed around a strong online item economy, deep character customisation, competitive PvP and ladder races.
There are two ways to play this game. Play standard or hardcore league.
Standard: You many play in the same league no matter how many times you die.
Hardcore: You only have ONE life. If you die you may no longer play in the same league.
52 HOUR MADNESS
It all started when a new hardcore league called Nemesis came out and the race to level 100 began. People in the top 50 that die are broadcasted to every player in the hardcore league. Fast forward 3 weeks later, I am #4 in the ladder eyeing the #1 spot and something happened that no one thought would.
That's right. The #1 player died. The night this happened, I stayed up for 52 hours and reached the #2 spot. More than two whole days to try to claim the #1 spot.
In the end, it was a close race. Due to health concerns I could only claim the #2 spot in the ladder. exinfinite was my in game name and I was the third person to ever reach level 100 in a hardcore league.
